      (1) Heard in San Diego at Blue Angel shows - Confirmed.
      (2) Heard at Miramar NAS on Aug 17-18 1996

251.600 is Aircraft 5/6, the Soloists
263.350 is Flightline Maintenance - "My Plane's Broke, FIX it!"
275.350 is Aircraft 1-4, the Diamond Formation
302.150 is All Aircraft (Used at Friday Show)
307.700 is All Aircraft (alternate - used only in practice this year)

Both 307.700 and 302.150 were used at different times during practice - either
might be used in the actual shows, or both might.

Note that not all frequencies are used at every airshow, there are a
lot of "alternate" channels, to avoid local users on a given channel.
Also, during practice, channel usage does NOT conform to actual airshow
usage - for instance, 263.350 may be used as air to air, instead of just
for calling the mechs on the ground to request repairs on landing.

Don't count on usage listings above - things change, or may have been
incorrectly reported.
=================================================================

Most air comms should be AM while ground crews are most likely FM.
Although no ground crew was listed for the Blue Angels, check out the
140 MHz stuff for that. Also, the 142.025/142.65 is likely a repeater
 output/input.

Someone asked for a repost of the Air Show frequency list I have
accumulated. Here it is again in two files. These are not mine- I can't
vouch for the accuracy. This is an accumulation from a number of
postings both in the Scanner and SW Echos. Enjoy.

                           MONITORING AIR SHOWS

As one might expect these frequencies change as fast as these
high performance military aircraft do. Due to local usage, etc
these frequencies do vary. My best suggestion is to start out
Friday afternoon prior to the weekend airshow when the demonstration
teams normally do a practice airshow for the local dignitaries
and school groups. This is an excellent time to scope out possible
new frequencies the different teams might be using. This should
be enough to get you ready for the two shows the teams will be
doing over the weekend.
