For you long term readers of this column, you know that I've been offering a copy of the Aviation update freqs, direct from the FCC via E.T. and his good company Spectrum Resources, that gets published every month. This listing starts back when I took over the column. All it cost was a green stamp ($1.00) and a SASE. Well, the listing is now up to over 24 pages and climbing every month. Just the copying costs alone make this deal too expensive to carry on. Starting this issue, this offer will only be available on diskette. $1.00 and a SASE disk mailer with an IBM formatted 3.5" diskette will get you the file. The file is available ONLY in WordPerfect 5.1, 6.0C or 6.1 (DOS) format and ASCII. You may need to reformat the document for your word processor or editor.
I also am offering a 54 page listing of (near as I can tell) all airports and air fields in the U.S. Roughly 4,000 listings. This document lists each field by City/State, ICAO code, Latitude, Longitude and up to three freqs, ATIS, GND and TWR. $1.00 and a SASE disk mailer with an IBM formatted 3.5" will get you the file.
