The 24 Hour Woman - C

A bland seriocomic look at the life of TV producer Grace (Rosie Perez) trying to balance a baby, career, and a marriage, The 24 Hour Woman is distinguishable from its Lifetime Channel sistren only by the occasional utterings of four-letter language. There's some fine acting here, but the performances are undercut by heavy-handed dramaturgy (Could there be a more obvious application of Chekhov's Law?) and Nancy Savoca's pedestrian direction.
