CSHA Singers Celebrated St. Nicholas Day on Sunday December 3, 2006 with a Christmas Concert — Photo by Frank and Anči Huber

Music has always played an important part in the Czech cultural and social heritage.

The power of music:

bullet  enriches the human spirit
bullet  fosters a sense of confidence
bullet  fosters a sense of personal growth

The Czech and Slovak Heritage Singers meet weekly for this very purpose and to perform a wide range of familiar and unfamiliar Czech choral works.
We are not professionals, we:

bullet  enjoy sharing our talents with each other

bullet  enjoy good fellowship

bullet  joy making a joyful noise

bullet  enjoy singing

bullet  have a lot of fun

CSHA's 20th Festival Song List

Za tým naším okénečkem
U kláštera stojí kámen
Tancuj, tancuj
Pijácké popěvky
A ja taka dzivočka
Škoda lásky
Sukýnka valčík
Švestková alej
Esče som sa neoženil
To ta Hel'pa
Ej lúčka zelená
Čo se to šupoce
Česká písnička
Život je jen náhoda
