Subject: street safety for morse school

Dear Sleepy Hollow / Tarrytown Friends, PTA members and Safety Advocates:

Several parents of Morse School children and residents of the Van Tassell Apartments have come together to propose traffic safety improvements for Morse School's arrival and dismissal times.

People will be urging action on these matters during the public comment period at Sleepy Hollow's Board of Trustees' meeting on Tuesday, February 9th at 7pm. Please attend.

Do note, during that meeting, the Trustees are having a public hearing about how reconstruction of the Beekman Ave bridge (over the Metro North tracks) will impact traffic flow and parking around the bridge. Please be patient and don't speak on the Morse issues during that time. Use the general public comment period which comes moments after that.
