Dear Mr Feiner:

I'm following up on my tweet to you about transportation improvements for the Regeron expansion https://twitter.com/danielconvissor/status/786787075886616576 and my July 19 email to you about resurfacing and reorganizing Old Saw Mill River Rd.

The current roadway configuration of two lanes in each direction leads to drivers jockeying for position and speeding and makes cycling through the area unpleasant and unsafe. I'd bet the current and projected number of motor vehicles in the area doesn't necessitate four lanes.

Combining the "shortcut trail" I proposed in the tweet with the County's planned North/South County Trails connector in Elmsford and the County's Tarrytown-Kensico trail will produce a great incentive for employees (and potential employees) at Regeneron and the County/medical campus in Valhalla who live (or are considering living) in Greenburgh and it's villages.

I'll be glad to sit down with you or meet on site if you'd appreciate clarification of these thoughts.

Sincerely,

--Dan
