Planetary and Lunar Elongation Calendar

A planetary and lunar elongation calendar is a chart which shows the elongation (angular distance) of the Moon and planets from the Sun for each day of a year. Specifically, it shows the angular distance and direction from the Sun of the naked-eye planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn) and the Moon. It provides a quick and easy way to determine the visibility of these celestial objects.
