Greetings,

Here's our report on the longest possible spelling of the name that's 
normally spelled "Sean."

As far as we can tell, the longest name that can be pronounced like
<Sean> is <Johannes>.  <Sean> is the Irish form of the Latin name
<Johannes>, and so it would be reasonable for an Irish person named
<Sean> to write <Johannes> for his name.  This isn't quite what you
were looking for, since a person would probably not say, "my name is
Sean, spelled J-O-H-A-N-N-E-S," but it's the best we were able to do.
