Greetings from the Academy of Saint Gabriel!

You asked for information about the feminine name <Lourhuany>, which was
the name of your ancestor in Mississippi in 1808. 

We couldn't find any mention of this name.  We didn't find any Scottish
name that sounds anything like it.  Whatever its origin, it appears to have
been badly mangled in being adapted to English.
