Here's the information we have on the name "Carn of Stargate."
The closest name to "Carn" that we found was "Kariin," a Norwegian name dated to 1509 (1). "of Stargate" can be registered in the SCA because there's already a Barony of Stargate, but "Stargate" is an extremely unlikely name for an actual medieval place.
We suggest that your daughter look at recreating a specific culture, and finding a name from that culture instead of attempting to document an invented name. She may find it more interesting to explore history.
