Here's the information we found on the name "Michaela."
We found a reference to the name "Michaela" from 14th-century France. (1) However, it appears that the most common feminine form of "Michael" in French was "Michelle." It's possible that "Michaela" was also used in Germany, but we have no good sources for German women's names, so we can't say whether or not it was used.
