You asked for any books about Turkish names.

Here is a list of references taken from the on-line catalogues of Columbia University, the New York Public Library, and the Library of Congress. Please note that we have not investigated any of these books, so we cannot say anything about their usefulness for choosing a Society name. In each case, we have provided all the information available in the on-line catalogue. Some books appear in more than one of these catalogues; in those cases, we have cited them only once.

I am sorry we cannot provide more help. We did search for more accessible references, but we found nothing. The only English book on Turkish names that we found is a CIA publication "Turkish Personal Names" (1961, Washington: Central Intelligence Agency. LCCN 68061077). We have seen similar books from the CIA; they discuss only modern names, and so are not of any help to the medieval re-creator.

All the other books are in Turkish, except one in German.
