Here's the information we found on the German byname "Heinrich."
We found several forms of "Heinrich" from your period: (1,2)
It's possible that "Heinze," based on a pet-form of "Heinrich," was a more common byname. A list of names from Hesse from 1200-1600 has only three examples of "Heinrich" but many examples of "Heinze." Spellings found there include (3)
