You asked about Scots Gaelic names that start with "J" or "S." We weren't able to find many examples of names from this period.
We have to stress that a name is not a phrase. A first name meaning "owner" and a last name meaning "of the black church" does not mean "owner of the black church." Modern names don't work this way, and medieval names didn't either.
