Greetings,

Here's the information we can give you about your arms, which involve a scorpion, crescents, purpure and Or.

A slight modification on your design, in which the scorpion is holding the crescent, would be blazoned:

"Purpure, a scorpion Or maintaining a crescent argent."

This would be reasonable for Italian heraldry from your period. Two other designs which would be reasonable are:

"Purpure, a scorpion Or and in chief two crescents argent." (The scorpion is in the middle of the field; two crescents are at the top)

"Chevrony argent and purpure, on a chief Or a scorpion fesswise between two crescents purpure." (The field is divided in chevronshaped stripes of white and purple. There's a gold bar across the top, with a scorpion in the middle and a crescent on either side). This is an unusual design for most of Europe, but it's based on arms found in Como in late period. Zenobia Naphtali, Arval Benicoeur, Talan Gwynek, and Pedro de Alcazar contributed to this letter.

We hope this has been helpful, and that we can continue to assist you.
