Greetings,
Here's the information we found on "Helen von Eltz."
"Helen" is the English form of the Latin name "Helena." "Helen" isn't found in German, but we found a lot of other German forms: (1,2,3)
"Eltz" is a place on the Mosel River, and "Helene von Eltz" (or one of the other German forms of "Helena") would be a perfectly reasonable German name.
Talan Gwynek and Arval Benicoeur contributed to this letter.
We hope this has been helpful, and that we can continue to assist you.
