You asked for information regarding the name Marged de Clare. Specifically, you asked if it could be registering without conflicting with 1) another person in your local group called Maeve de Clare and 2) historical Margaret de Clare's.
The Academy of St. Gabriel's mission is to provide research and guidance for recreation of historically accurate names and arms for the period represented by the SCA. Although the group contains a number of heralds, the registration process of the SCA is not our focus. These issues should be addressed to your local herald, http://listserv.aol.com/archives/scahrlds.html or alt.heraldry.sca, a usenet group. With that caveat, the consensus is that there probably is no registration problem based on either issue you raise.
