Greetings,

Here's what we found out about the name "Diarmait ui Dhuinn," which you
want to use as an Irish name from between 1250 and 1350.

You said that this was the registered form of your name, but your name is
recorded as <Diarmaid ua Dhuinn>.  This is almost correct.  <Diarmaid>
is the usual spelling of your name after 1200.  <ua> is correct for
an earlier persona, but it would be <O/> after about 1200.  The correct
form for your father's name is <Duinn> and we found no reason that an <h>
would be included in this case.

Thus, the most accurate form of your name for your period is <Diarmaid
O/ Duinn>.
