While we did not find the specific spelling of in your period, we found both in 1413 and in 1450, and in 1523 [1]. Therefore it is reasonable that this spelling of could have been used in your period. is a modern French spelling of the surname, which is found in different spellings in England in your period. For the best re-creation, you should choose one of the period spellings, such as , , and in the 15th century, and and in the early 16th century [2, 3]. Other variations that we found are, 1405, 1407, 1470, 1445, 1450, 1454, 1482, 1491, and 1493.
