can't trust the weather

i used to know from the radio if it would rain or shine,
but the weather bureau's batting zero
ever since you've been mine.
because of you i cannot trust the weather.

i've got the climate on my mind, it's all that i can think of. storm clouds gather when we're together, small-craft warnings when we make love. because of you i cannot trust the weather.

global warming? ice-age coming? the scientists don't know -- you cause all the storms and squalls; you tell the wind which way to blow. because of you i cannot trust the weather.
