Talk.Bizarre: It's not just a newsgroup, it's an order.

Long ago--it seems almost as if in another life--I was a regular reader and poster of the Usenet newsgroup talk.bizarre. It ain't what it used to be, let me tell you (pounds cane, chews moustache). Anyway if you're intersted in learning more about the group, here are the links that still work from my old list of resources. If anyone can tell me where the talk.bizarre Wasteful Archive has gone, I'd be grateful.

Read. Learn. Evolve.
John F. Woods is the ultimate oldbie; he's been posting to talk.bizarre since shortly after it was created in 1985. His Talk.Bizarre Sampler is a fine introduction to the froup.
The talk.bizarre FAQ
The current version of the teebee FAQ is available (like most FAQs) by ftp from rtfm.mit.edu.
