var intro         = '<B>Interior Views</B><br><br>The house is Georgian in design, containing a rear \"L\" which now contains the old farm kitchen (keeping room) and the new kitchen where there had previously been a porch. The house is built from native cut limestone except for the new kitchen which is wood frame. The windows on the first floor are 9 over 6 and on the second floor 6 over 9, which may have been reversed at some point due to the ware from opening and closing the lower frames by grasping the mullions. The interior doors are grain painted and have Pennsylvania German lock boxes, except for some doors on the second floor added in the 1930 remodeling.<br><br>The large cooking fireplace still contains the swing arm and the door to the bake oven that at one time protruded from the rear of the house where the patched stonework is still visible. The fireplace is still operable and the original fireplace doors were found in the barn and restored to the fireplace in 2003. The keeping room closet still has the original batten wood wall and door which at one time led to the back stairs.<br><br>The Guest House was referred to as the tenant house or summer kitchen, yet it currently has no fireplace. The older northern half of the house is old red brick above a stone foundation. The windows in this part are six over six and the original doors are six panel. The 1930 addition is built from cinder block and consists of a screened porch and kitchen on the first floor and a bedroom on the second floor. The door frames and window molding in the new section are Prairie or Arts and Craft style. The kitchen was remodeled in 2004. The north bedroom in the red brick section has an old wide board floor.<br>';
