Comments:
I began temping @ Chase thru ChemTemps (when it was still Chemical) for 3 months in the High Yield Dept (full of greed and arrogance) until the merge w/ Chase. I wound up staying 3 years; it was the most $$ I ever made in my life. Chase got rid of ChemTemps and contracted Olsten.

I was swept along with these new arrangements and never had a contact @ the agency for the rest of my duration @ Chase--The Bank from Hell! I had tried to call on many occasions, but any couselor I spoke couldn't give me time of day. The AA support staff @ Chase had more excuses for sick days and latenesses than I have hair on my head. They hardly came to work. Of course, the Temp gets dumped on! The only person I knew @ Olsten was Dion in the payroll dept. (Very sweet and helpful--no longer there).

A situation arose in the HY dept (2 white trash secy's were stealing and fedexing to their homes--they did not get fired) in a VERY HOSTILE and ABUSIVE environment and Olsten went through the motions of Making Believe they were concerned, and I being in a vulnerable state, trusted them. Once I made them aware of my situation, Eileen, one of the managers told me Olsten could not place me on another assignment until Chase HR (more red tape and BS)was notified. Eileen leads me to believe that I will be placed on another assignement ASAP because I am a PRIORITY.

The outcome is I left Chase that week. Eileen blows me off to a counselor named Troy who tells me I will have to take a cut in pay from $20.91 to $13.77 and now I must upgrade my all my computer skills (which was the only good thing--free training!) before he can send me out. I took the classes and Troy, of course never returned my calls. My advice is don't go to Olsten, meet Troy or work @ Chase!
