I arrived at this temp agency because I responded to a help-wanted ad
for a position with a publishing company that seemed interesting. I
got a call back, and scheduled an interview with a woman who casually
failed to inform me that my interview was with an agency, not the
publishing company I thought I'd responded directly to. Staffing By
Hall, Inc is the most unprofessional place I have ever been in. Maybe
I am too old fashioned, but I was interviewed by a completely
disorganized woman in overalls and cowboy boots who gave me half her
attention and spent her time pressing different jobs on me than the
one I had called in about. She called later that day to say she had
scheduled an interview for me with Company X (not the one I had first
expressed interest in), but puncuated the call by chatting at length
with her co-workers. I decided to cancel my interview with Company X
the next day. I am convinced I can represent myself better on my
own.
