Salary: B/w 18-22 hr

Benefits: After 300 hrs in 10 weeks you are eligible for their benefits

plan. Includes major med and dental, pretty decent plan overall. 3 of

our 4 physicians belong to the group and visits were $10-. After 1700

hr/52 wks they pay, 50% of the employee's benefits and none of the

family. After 1900 hr/52 wks they pay, 100% of the employee's benefits

and none of the family.

401k is available pretax, they match 1% of your contribution and

you are immediately vested. 401k funds are various Fidelity Mutual

funds w/ various levels of risk.

Comments: They kept me quite busy and helped suppliment my freelance work. If your looking for permanent this isn't really the place to go. They have a serious case of the Golden Goose Syndrome, where they will say they're looking for permanent slots for you but nothing ever materializes, because they don't want to lose the weekly cash you generate by continuing to temp for them.

Short sighted because many of their temps can and do get managerial level positions on their own and would use Mactemps for placement once they're taken on staff if Mactemps found them the position. They do send you to some awful situations. From experience and conversations with others in their employ stay away from assignments at:

Comments range from computers set up on lawn furniture to trying to offering the temp a job on staff and then trying to get the temp to pay the agency fee.
