Comments:
I registered with Execusearch in the summer of 2000, however I was on another long term assignment which lasted 2 years. When that assignment ended, I contacted my agent at Execusearch and was told the market was slow. Even though I called/emailed my availability 2 times per week, it took them 6 months to finally get me into an assignment. But it was worth it because the assignment was with a very good financial company. Initially the assignment was to be 3 months, it lasted a year. Since the assignment ended in October, they have been unable to place me as of yet, even though the assured me they would be able to place me soon. Rather frustrating, but I'll keep bothering them. On the upside, I qualified for and received medical insurance after 4 months (they offer 2 plans, HIP and Aetna (stay away from Aetna)). As with any agency, the amount of work you'll get depends on your relationship with the placement counselor -- just keep bugging them.
