Comments:
After my first visit to Broadway Personnel I had very high hopes. The office was not the most professional I'd seen but I was new to New York and was excited to begin working. My first visit went well. My counselor was pleasant and seemed convinced she could find me a job and then referred me to one of her colleagues to go over my resume. A few days later I recieved a call for an opportunity that was paid a barely livable wage. With assurances from the male counselor that it would all work out and misguided faith I went to the interview, was impressed with the office but along with the meger salary the position was only avaliable part-time after a specific request for full-time work. I left the interview and called the temp agency to tell them that I just did not think I could spend my time at a position where I wasn't even earning a livable wage. The male counselor bullied me into going in to work one day the following week, promising to take care of everything. The day before I was to go in I got a call from another agency for a much more lucrative interview. I called Broadway Personnel as soon as found out about the interview, but it was after office hours so I left a message explaining that I would not be able to make it in to the other office. The next morning I got a call from the man screaming at me for blowing off the appointment, telling me I'd never be able to work in this city if I didn't go in and generally being very rude. After a lot of bullying, rudeness and threats I told the man I wanted nothing more to do with his temp agency. One more threat later and the man simply hung up on me. About an hour later he called back again to tell what a mistake I was making, threatened to sue and again, hung up. I am currently happily working with a livable wage, no thanks to Broadway Personnel.
BROADWAY PERSONNEL IS RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHADY!!! THERE ARE BETTER PLACES TO GO!! BROADWAY PERSONNEL TREATS YOU LIKE A WHORE TO BE PIMPED OUT, STAY AWAY!!
