Globestyle Records (UK)I've never been disappointed by any CD I bought from this label, but they're getting difficult to find in the U.S. Their heyday was 1987-1994. Globestyle specialized in making high-quality recordings of individual artists or bands who would not otherwise have been exposed to the western world.

PutamayoPutamayo seems to specialize in creating collections of previously recorded music that is not usually available in the U.S.

Shanachie more of a folk music label, but does have some notable world music releases.

Hannibal Records Hannibal is Rykodisc's world music label - I highly recommend the group, "Muzsikas", from Hungary
