Welcome to the Virtual Philmont section of my Philmont Journal. To the casual user, perhaps one of the most intriguing things about computers today is the ability to generate three-dimensional models of places and things. Virtual reality (VR) software enables us to go places and "see" things that might otherwise prove difficult to reach. So, I turned the electronic eye towards Philmont.

With VR software tools working from real topographic data, we are able to take you on a virtual trek.
