Ok so my plan was to build something with lights. I had decided to blow some money on it. My last pc was 5 years old compaq P3 350mgh. This time I had some unfortunate luck. The p4 chip was bad. Then the hard drive was bad. Then my win2000 OS was bad. Other then that it was a cakewalk. I was going nuts before it was all over. These are not typical problems so don't let them defer you.
