Chris Owens, our candidate for Congress in the Democratic primary last September, spoke out for good jobs from sensible development and against corporate greed and eminent domain abuse.

CBID OPPOSES ATLANTIC YARDS PROJECT

The Club adopted a resolution opposing the Atlantic Yards Project of the Ratner Organization at our June 16, 2005 meeting. Please visit Develop Don't Destroy Brooklyn for current developments on this important community issue.

The Club will consider joining DDDB lawsuit against Atlantic Yards at our February 15 meeting.
