Apple II
computers from 1978 thru 2003, and is now a website. We held our
last
meeting in 2003. You are welcome whether you are a
novice
or a power user.

According to the Mid-Atlantic Retro Computing Hobbyists website, Vintage Computer Festival East X will be held April 17-19, 2015, at the InfoAge Science Center in Wall Township, NJ.The Vintage
Computer Festival Southeast 3.0 takes place in Atlanta on
May
2 & 3, 2015.
At the VCF 9.0 which was held at the Computer History Museum on Nov. 4 & 5, 2006, there was a 30th anniversary celebration of the original Apple computer.

Vintage Macs - aka
Legacy Macs - had serial ports (as did the Apple II)
- 68K MACS: the original Macs with 68000 series Motorola processor chips.
- "OLD WORLD" POWER MACS:

The "old world" PowerMacs with 601, 603, or 604 IBM chips.
They
were informally designated as G1 or G2, as follows:.
- G1: 601 PowerMacs - the first generation of PowerMacs
- G2: 603 and 604 PowerMacs - the second generation of PowerMacs. Sometimes included in this category are the early beige G3 models with serial ports.
- "NEW WORLD" POWER MACS: G3, G4,and G5 PowerMacs
