Want to know something even funnier? I lost my catalyst destroyer about an hour after you left EVE. I had done a pristine jaspet run and was about to bring on the hauler. Pirates popped, so I decided to take them on. After a tougher than expected fight (although nowhere near as tough as that missile boat) I had them licked, but I was hurting. Before I can warp back to base, a player pirate pops out of warp dead ahead, warp scrambles me so I can't warp out, and proceeds to unleash about 13 hammerhead heavy drones against my ship. I got some damage in but nothing of any consequence. At least I didn't get podded, but I want my Vexxor more than ever now. Mining in 0.3 does not seem to be doable solo. Even with both of us there I don't know if we'd have killed him. We might need to reconsider a 0.4 or 0.5 area until we have cruisers.. and backup.. and backup for the backup...
thought for the day: always ALWAYS have local channel open so you can see who's popping out of warp on your ass.
