Comments: Captain's Log - Day 6
I've thoroughly enjoyed the running updates. I've never lived in London but I visited it in 2005 and loved it a great deal. The nature of the people and the communication style you mention felt very natural to me. Many times I questioned why, in the US, we use some of the words and phrases we do.
I don't think I could get the wife to move to London but I think rural England is possible.
And it was super expensive in 2005 ... and the dollar has only gotten weaker since that time.
Have a safe trip back to Seattle (home?).
