Wow to your grandfather being 90! And, if I recall correctly, wasn't your mom's bday the first week in August? Happy birthday, Gail. She always scared me... in a positive way. Kinda like in the way one might "fear the Lord."
And speaking of Adams... I reckon it's a different Adam that's going to visit you, but... A friend of mine has said I MUST watch Heroes, so, to appease him, I bought the dvds. I watched the first episode 2 nights ago and saw the DOP was Adam Kane. (I assume it's gotta be the one and only Kane Boy.) My friend, IMDB, subsequently informed me that he got a ASC nod for the episode, too.
As for the house thing, I have two words for you: fixed mortgage.
As for the SF trip, I have one word for you: geek.

Oh yeah, and one should never grill meat straight out of the fridge. Rather, grill meat at room temperature... It cooks faster and more evenly.

Hey Glenn,
having a HK reminiscent day - and no focus, (maybe its the blue sky out the window), so am reading your blog when I should be working. Philippe and I spent a coupla weeks in Seattle recently and are kicking ourselves for not looking you up. Sounds like things are ticking along for you though, which is great. (We loved seattle btw.)
