Ran across some nut fragmenting CDs by spinning them at high speed. I think I probably wouldn't try this, but I'm glad somebody else did and recorded the results. [Ars Technica]

No news to report. Today is the first day that's felt anything like summer--hazy and humid. That extra moisture in the air is really palpable. It wasn't hot, though.
