It's been almost two weeks since I switched to Firebird. For something that's only version 0.6, it's been a solid interface to the web.

By the way, Sean linked to Alex's page because of his (Sean's) interest in uses of Jython, which is also very cool. There's are many reasons why legions of web developers code their pages with dynamic "scripting" languages. Java web developers could benefit for the same reasons. Sean has something to say about Jython integrated with Tomcat.

Through Sean McGrath I've discovered Alex Krut's work to implement web page controllers as if they were sequential processes. This is well worth the time to understand what he's doing and how he does it.

Yesterday was Sue's last day at MWT. I wish her good luck in her upcoming adventures. When I have a chance, I'll post a picture of her empty office. As she noted in her farewell address to us, we'll miss her laugh (a major reason why she was in an office and not a cubicle!)
