NOTES ON MULTIVOX PREMIER BB-30 BASS AMP

This is basically the same as the Premier SS30 guitar amplifier, except that
the vibrato section of the board is not stuffed and R31 is replaced with a 
jumper.  C1 is changed to 0.01uF and C2 to .01 uF.  Input one is not actually
used.

This is an all-germanium design and as such is delicate.  If semiconductor
replacement is needed, Q5 and Q6 can be replaced with the more-available
2N1303 and 2N1304 types.

I have replaced Q5 and Q6 successfully with CRT1553 types which have far
more dissipation and higher breakdown voltage.  Other later TO-3 Germanium
PNP types may work as well. 

Note that C9, the 47pF compensation capacitor, may need to be replaced with
a higher value ceramic capacitor for stability if wider band transistors than
the originals are used.

The thermoresistive element should measure 470 ohms at room temperature.
