Only Known Photograph Of the Giant Yeti Cat

Seldom seen by the eyes of mortal men, the Giant Yeti Cat, long fabled in song and story, is one of the true great wonders of the world. Of unusually large size, the Giant Yeti Cat is known to haunt dark and remote places such as under the bed and the farthest shelf in the back of the closet. No one knows where the Giant Yeti Cat is lurking.

Many men think they have seen the Giant Yeti Cat, seeing only a glimpse of hair out of the corner of their eye, but invariably they find that they have only seen random tufts of cat hair left behind by this, the most mysterious of creatures.

Some have claimed that the Giant Yeti Cat does not exist and that these creatures consist entirely of hair, but scientists at the Tokyo Kaiju Institute have long been at the forefront of Giant Yeti Cat studies. They insist that the Giant Yeti Cat is a living and breathing thing. In the classic monograph Nos Amis, Les Chats-Yetis, Dr. Malchaton argues that the range of these animals was once much larger than it is today. Only in the night when no one is looking does the Giant Yeti Cat leave his subterranean lair to take flight down to the land where the gooshy food is presented.
