The living room (called the “lounge” in Australia
This is a view of the living room looking out toward the balcony. To give it that “verite” element I didn’t even tidy up before shooting the snap. The balcony was large enough for a table and four chairs, albeit a tight fit. The kitchen is to the left around the corner.
The view from the bedroom
This was taken as I was lolling in bed after John had left for work. It’s a rough life, I know.

Through the trees you can see Manly beach up close and in the distance, Shelly Beach.
