January 2004 finds me finally gainfully employed after more than four months. It will be nice to have somewhere to go on a regular basis and the additional income will not go amiss but I still approach my first day with trepidation. It is sort of like being the new kid in school--will the new kids like me? Will the subjects I knew in my old school help me get good grades in the new one? Will I find nice kids to each lunch with?
I am also pursuing the opportunity to be a team leader with Weight Watchers. This is still the very early stages and so they have to decide if they want me to be a leader and I have to determine if I want to commit to being a team leader. I’ve filled out an application and will have to pass a phone interview before I can go to pre-training training. My team leader feels that there will be no problem with the phone interview and so the four-session training would then be in February and March.
