Cookies and Cream Pudding (from Diane Storey)

For the pudding combine:

8 oz cream cheese (softened)
2 pkgs instant vanilla pudding
3 1/2 c milk
12 oz. cool whip

For the crust combine:

1 package Oreos, crushed
1 stick butter, melted

Assemble with layers of Oreo crust first and a thin layer last. This can be made in a deep glass bowl or in a shallow foil or metal container. Refrigerate to let it set. This can be made the day before but if made too far in advance the Oreos will "bleed".
