Saint Michael and All Angels Anglican Church

Church Programs

St Michael's is a "full service" parish, with programs for all ages.

Organization

A summary of St. Michaels' organizational structure and current officers may be found here

Lay Service

Male parishioners may volunteer to participate in our sevices as Acolytes or Lay Readers. A "duty roster" is available here.

Choir

The liturgy is central here, and good liturgy requires music. A small but faithful group works hard to prepare a motet, sung during the Communion of the People. Volunteers are always welcome!

Adult Bible Study

We believe the Holy Scripture is infallible and inerrant. Father Wells leads an in-depth Bible study each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. in the parish hall. To join, just show up!

Sunday School

For our youngsters we offer a content-centered Church School, taught during Mass every Sunday. The children are brought into the church just before Communion to be blessed at the rail.

Vacation Bible School

A "first" this year, we held a full five day Vacation Bible School for the children of our congregation as well as any others who wished to attend. The theme was "Jesus is our greatest treasure."

Outreach

The Church exists mainly for those who do not belong to it. We strive to serve God's poor. We have a strong relationship with a local home for unwed mothers. We support local agencies through food and clothing drives. We donate to hurricane and disaster relief through Samaritan's Purse
