Building Inspector

- Roslyn Fire Department has no awards program yet
- Broadhollow fire, August 10, 1800 Cedar Swamp Road, interior was destroyed,
Fire Marshall has declared it arson and determined that a Molotov cocktail
was used
Sanitation Comm.
- opted out of Glen Cove plastics program
- $1100 charged for the last billing period
- carters will have to get rid of plastics themselves
Road Comm.
Police Comm.
- no burglaries in June or July
- 3 burglaries in August, 2 on (deleted) and 1 at St. Paul's church
- false alarms
- Reggaefest at Post College drew numerous noise complaints
- to meet with Post Thursday at 4 PM
- holdup of credit union at Post College July 17, 1991, took $144,000
in cash, 3 robbers were arrested, $40,000 was left and travelers checks
were recovered
- Mill Neck
- 3 new patrolmen, 2 are new and 1 is ex-Mill Neck
- there are now 39 patrolmen on the force
