I have a LEGO Mindstorm RCX and IR tower that don't work, I'm
looking for someone with a working LEGO Mindstorm so I can determine
whether it's the RCX or the IR tower I have that isn't working.
Also, I'm reviewing a book for the CPCUG, a book published by O'Reilly,
"Programming LEGO Mindstorms with JAVA"
Background and Interests:
As a volunteer trainer for CPCUG, has taught classes on Basics of
PC's, Computer Troubleshooting, Windows Maintenance, Basic Mouse Skills,
etc. Developing a class on "Introduction to Object Oriented Programming
using JAVA"
Has worked on simulations of spacecraft attitude control systems,
i.e. systems for autonomous self-orientation of spacecraft in orbit,
"spacecraft are radio-controlled robots in space."
Also worked on design of a microcontroller-based device to capture,
store and reproduce consumer infrared control signals used to control
TV's, VCR's, etc.
