All the Ships at Sea - Spot the Movie References!

Sallitt calls this a Bresson shot.  It is hard to say exactly why.  It has something to do with Dylan McCormick's head being cut off at the beginning of the shot, so that the camera seems to focus on the action instead of the person.  At any rate, the reference got a chuckle out of 1st Assistant Camera Susan Loyd, who likes classic art films.
