Tonight we made the DAT tapes that I will use to create the movie's sound track. On the whole, the mix sounded pretty smooth to me. We made another VHS copy at the same time, which I have to listen to at home as a final check. I also have to listen to the DATs somewhere (Robin's editing studio, probably) to make sure that nothing went wrong with the transfer.
Over the weekend I caught IN THE COMPANY OF MEN, which is the first film I've seen in a while that I think might contain fewer shots than mine.... It's nice to see an independent film with that much ambition and integrity finding an audience.
