I called Tomoko Kawamoto at the Huntington Film Festival today, and it
turns out that I forgot that I sent them my application and videotape!
Very embarrassing. Anyway, it looks like I have a bona fide festival
acceptance on my hands, at the point where I'd just about given up on the
festival circuit--this might be a nice postscript to the filmmaking process.
They're asking for a few materials that I haven't given them yet, including
a copy of the VHS trailer Robin and I made for
Mitchell Banks, which they might use as part of a promotional TV appearance.
