I sat home all day and did useful things--finished a set of costume guidelines for the main characters, removed a scene and printed a (hopefully) final draft of the script, made a contact with a lighting supplier, drew up a computer flowchart that will figure prominently in a key scene. Still, my fears about the production continue to mount. We made no progress this weekend on our biggest problems, the lack of a crew and of key locations. Every film professional I talk to seems concerned that so many of our crew positions remain unfilled at this late date. We need to move into crisis mode.
