We are setting up auditions for Wednesday, but we haven't heard back from the actor who was the leading candidate for the male lead role. If he drops out of consideration, we are back at square one.
I'm getting ready to ship my 16mm camera off to Los Angeles, so John, the cinematographer, can check it out and bring it with him when he arrives in June. John has been in activity mode for the last two weeks or so, and we've been talking frequently--he's been extremely helpful and generous, as he has always been with my film projects.
I've started making to-do lists left and right, and they have a calming effect on me. I guess I'm one of those obsessive-compulsive personalities you hear about.
